Well my lovely readers... would you?
I'm quite certain that it hasn't even crossed your mind! But let's see what this girl and her husband from
design dump did in her new home and in my opinion it turned out great.
Maybe it will change your mind.... maybe...

Do I hear any "wow"? Is anyone of you convinced now?
Another thing that it is worth mentioning is what they did with the ceiling and the flooring. Nice work! So, if you would like to see more of this transformation visit their blog here .

As I was doing my daily read in my lovely desire to inspire I saw this stunning house in South Australia that the family worked miracles to get it to look like that, and now it is for sale! Can you believe it is on the market? Hmmm.... considering in immigrating perhaps...

Grey. Love that colour!

Hello my lovely readers! How was your weekend?
My family and I had a full weekend including walks, visiting many friends - old and new - and a lot of entertaining for the kiddos.
So, for today I would like to share with you some photos that have one thing in common... colour grey! God  how I love this colour! I like to paint with it, decorate with it and even dress with it! Add some crispy white and if you want just a few (only few) hints oft colour, such as pink or yellow or orange or red, and you have a perfect combo.

DIY: Stone Sconces

This is a super easy project that anyone can do on the super cheap. I found it at styleitchic and it is so innovative and practical as well. Probably my next little project...

You begin with 2 pieces of thick wood (at your preferred size)
Sconces

You glue the small bottom piece onto the back. This is to just hold it in place while you secure the “L” brackets on. Then you glue the stones on one piece
Sconce

And there you have it! Easy-peasy!
Sconce

And with a great impact! Wow! I really like them a lot!

Have a nice weekend everyone! See you again on Monday!

Mirror Mirror on the Wall

Wall mirrors? Well I must admit it... I would have never thought of it as a decoration idea.
Creatively using mirrors can be the ultimate decorating tool for your home.
If you need to create more light, or add an illusion of more room in your small abode...
adding a wall of mirrors is the ultimate trick.
Mirrors can also add architectural style and influence, in addition, a wall of mirrors can
brighten up the darkest of spaces.
Mirrors can do wonders for your home!

Perfect Vignettes

It is not an easy thing to create a nice vignette. There are some certain rules and always the personaly style that must be taken into consideration. As per Maria Killam "A tablescape or vignette should include a minimum of 3 items; flowers, candles, and books, and depending on where it is, a tray. The idea is to create a kind of triangle inside the vignette". Below you can see some tablescapes where everything is so perfectly arranged!
